Since the park was established in 2005, it has adhered to the development philosophy of 'priority on protection, supported by scientific research,' maintaining long-term, in-depth cooperation with research institutions and universities to systematically carry out scientific research. In collaboration with the Jiangxi Provincial Institute of Geological Survey (now Jiangxi Provincial Institute of Geological Survey and Exploration), the park has completed systematic studies on the 'Sanqingshan-style' granite landforms, the demonstration and evaluation for the application of the World Geopark, and surveys and assessments of geological relic resources, resulting in scholarly works such as 'Characteristics and Genesis of Sanqingshan Granite Landforms,' which laid a solid foundation for the park's successful application for World Heritage designation and subsequent in-depth research. At the same time, relying on the China Geological Survey and China University of Geosciences (Beijing), in-depth studies have been conducted on the spatiotemporal distribution of granites from different periods in the region and the four major magmatic activity phases, exploring the origin of granites and their formation background, leading to the completion of the doctoral dissertation 'Geological and Landform Characteristics and Formation Mechanisms of Sanqingshan Granites in Jiangxi,' and the publication of monographs such as 'Characteristics and Genesis of Sanqingshan Granite Landforms' and 'Geological and Landform Characteristics and Formation Mechanisms of Sanqingshan Granites in Jiangxi,' establishing a complete research system from landform characterization to genesis mechanisms. The representative scientific papers from 2012 to 2025 are compiled as follows:
