10-Mar-2022 00:00

I. Introduction to the Study Base

Nestled at the foot of Sanqingshan’s main area, Immortal Valley is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction covering a total area of 287.59 hectares. Adhering to an original-ecology development philosophy, the site boasts picturesque pastoral scenery, with seasonal crops interlacing surrounding mountain vegetation to form a layered, diversified landscape. Characterized by steep mountains, deep valleys and rolling ridges, the area features a high forest coverage rate. The Yuya Stream winds through the valley, creating an idyllic landscape where mountains and water complement each other. Featured interactive activities such as stream trekking combine ornamental value with hands-on participation. Bazhai Village nearby boasts exceptional natural and cultural resources that complement Immortal Valley, supplying diverse high-quality practical venues for the delivery of study courses.

II. Study Objectives

Centered on dual development of natural science popularization and ecological moral education, this study tour facilitates students’ physical and mental wellbeing, builds physical stamina and perseverance, and helps foster a sound world outlook, life philosophy and values, cultivating all-round developed talents for the new era with well-rounded morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor skills. Drawing on Sanqingshan’s indigenous resources, the curriculum integrates ecological conservation awareness and geological knowledge into outdoor learning. It constructs a complete study tour system featuring provincial and national awareness education, nature education, cultural inheritance and hands-on practice, fulfilling the core goal of learning amid travel and gaining insights from experience.
