Longhushan UGGp is located in Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province of China, covers an area of 38,000 hectares and in 2001 was honored as the first batch of National Geopark and in 2007 as an UGGp. Its main type of geological heritage is geological and geomorphological.
The geopark is composed of the Longhushan, Guifeng and Xiangshan Parks. Danxia landform of Longhushan is various, with the complete sequence of the Danxia landform from infancy, maturity to old age, especially the maturity as the main landform. The entire park presents a natural picture of limpid water and red mountains, representing a typical Danxia landform. Meanwhile, due to the distribution of distinctive volcanic landform and typical stratigraphic sections, it possesses high scientific value as well as aesthetic and tourism value.
