Sanqingshan UGGp participated in the 5th Asia-Pacific Geoparks Symposium and 2017 Meeting of APGN

From September 19 to 22, 2017, the 5th Asia-Pacific Geoparks Symposium was grandly held in Zhijin County, Guizhou Province. The theme of this conference is "UNESCO global geoparks promote sustainable development of local economy". More than 900 representatives from 27 countries attended the conference. Representatives of UNESCO, GGN, UNESCO Global Geopark Council, and Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network and other organizations attended the general assembly. Sanqingshan UGGp sent representatives to participate in the conference.
On the eve of the conference, a meeting of the Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network Coordinators was held, at which representatives of Sanqingshan UGGp delivered an active speech.
There were five keynote speeches and six special reports at the conference, including the construction of geoparks, the sustainable development of local social economy, the public education of popular science knowledge, the construction of candidate global geoparks, the construction of karst landform global geopark network, and strengthening regional cooperation to promote the development of UNESCO global geoparks in the Asia-Pacific region.
During the conference, the delegation of Sanqingshan UGGp carried out extensive discussions and communiations, seriously learning the construction and management experience of the advanced global geoparks. At the same time, the delegation participated in the global geoparks exhibition and exhibited jointly with other global geoparks, focusing on the geological heritage resources, geological heritage protection, research and geological tourism of Sanqingshan UGGp. In addition, the delegation also inspected Zhijindong UGGp and the National geoparks and geological heritage sites in Guizhou Province.
三清山世界地质公园参加第五届亚太世界地质公园大会暨2017年度亚太地质公园网络协调员会
2017年9月19-22日，第五届亚太世界地质公园大会在贵州省织金县隆重召开。本届大会以“联合国教科文组织世界地质公园促进地方经济可持续发展”为主题，来自27个国家的900多名代表参会。联合国教科文组织、世界地质公园网络、联合国教科文组织世界地质公园理事会、亚太地质公园网络等机构代表出席大会。三清山世界地质公园派代表参加了此次会议。
大会前夕，召开了亚太地质公园网络协调员会议，三清山世界地质公园代表在会上积极发言。
本届大会共有5场主题报告和6场专题报告，其中专题报告主题包括地质公园建设，当地社会经济可持续发展，科普知识的公众教育，候选世界地质公园建设，喀斯特地貌世界地质公园网络建设，加强区域合作促进亚太地区联合国教科文组织世界地质公园发展等六大方面。
大会期间，三清山世界地质公园代表团广泛开展研讨交流，认真学习世界先进地质公园的建设与管理经验；同时，参加了世界地质公园展览，和其他世界地质公园同台联展，着重推介了三清山的地质遗迹资源、地质遗迹保护、研学及地质旅游等。此外，代表团还实地考察了织金洞世界地质公园及贵州省内的国家地质公园和地质遗迹点。
