Post-00 College Student Volunteers in Horse-Face Skirts Serve at Sanqingshan UGGp

09-Oct-2025 10:00

During the National Day holiday, a group of post-00s college student volunteers dressed in horse-face skirts provided services for tourists at Sanqingshan UGGp. These young people born between 2000 and 2003 were stationed across the Geopark to offer volunteer services.

With their foreign language skills, the volunteers provided interpretation services for overseas tourists, introducing the Geopark’s history and culture, scenic features, Taoist cultural origins, and geological knowledge of granite peak forests. To help with understanding, they used metaphors and examples to translate professional knowledge into simple expressions. Serving as grid-based staff, the volunteers were assigned to various zones of the Geopark to respond to tourists’ needs in a timely manner.

In addition to college student volunteers, young cleaners were also responsible for maintaining environmental hygiene within the Geopark. In response to changing weather, staff distributed disposable raincoats, ginger tea, bread and snacks to tourists at the entrance, queuing areas and various attraction entrances, while also providing route guidance.

At present, these young people are stationed all over the Geopark, becoming a new force in the frontline service team.
