On February 28, the 2024 Sanqingshan Tour Guide Training Course officially kicked off at Sanqingshan UGGp .Organized by the Sanqingshan Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the three-day training session attracted more than 500 travel agency practitioners and tour guides from neighboring provinces, cities and counties, making it the largestscale training event with the widest participation in recent years.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Jiang Quhui, Director of the Bureau of Culture and Tourism of Sanqingshan UGGp. Lai Xinwei, Member of the Party Committee of Sanqingshan UGGp and Deputy Director of Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee, attended the event and delivered an opening speech.

This training aims to accelerate the high-quality tourism development of Sanqingshan, standardize the management of frontline tourism practitioners, improve the service level of the tourism industry and the core competitiveness of the area, and cultivate and reserve a group of outstanding tour guides who know the Geopark well and can effectively tell its stories.

With this goal in mind, the training covers a wide range of modules, including area resources, Taoist culture, reception etiquette, new media operation, management regulations, first aid, and emergency response. The courses are both practical and targeted, designed to help tour guides improve their professional skills in reception, promotion, and service.

As important communicators of the scenery and culture of the Geopark, tour guides play an indispensable role in tourism services. After the threeday training, more than 500 tour guides will return to their posts with new knowledge and skills, sharing the landscape and stories of Sanqingshan UGGp with visitors from all over the world.
