With the theme "5G Sets Sail, Rediscover Cultural Tourism", this special competition was co-hosted by multiple organizations. It aims to promote the integration of 5G with the cultural tourism industry, support the smart construction of the Geopark, and enrich visitor experiences.

Focusing on the application of VR + 5G technology in cultural tourism, the project has built a digital economy and smart tourism metaverse ecological scenario for the Geopark. As Jiangxi’s first cultural tourism scenic spot with metaverse immersive experience, it is committed to building the country’s first myth-themed cultural tourism scenic spot based on metaverse, bringing visitors a brand-new immersive cultural tourism experience.

According to the plan, Sanqingshan UGGp will launch two major metaverse attractions in the first phase, Oriental Goddess and Python Slithers out of Mountain. Wearing AR glasses, visitors can experience three major immersive interactive scenes, including wonderland displays and myth reenactments, and feel the contemporary charm of Sanqingshan’s Taoist culture and traditional myths.

In the follow-up stage, Sanqingshan UGGp will promote the in-depth integration of major scenic spots with metaverse technology, upgrade interactive experiences and enrich immersive content. The “Sanqingshan Metaverse Ecosystem” will be gradually opened to the public.
