On May 15, the 2025 "Four Levels & Four Inclusions" Special Tourism Marketing Campaign of Sanqingshan UGGp was officially launched in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province. The event aims to deepen the development of the traditional tourist source market in South China, continuously expand the brand influence of "The Splendor of Sanqingshan", and support the implementation of the "Attracting Tourists to Jiangxi" strategy.
As an important tourist source in South China, Zhanjiang boasts strengths in the integrated development of culture and tourism, making it a key region for the Geopark’s outreach outside Jiangxi Province. This campaign is a concrete practice for the Geopark to advance the development model of "government-led, market-oriented, and tourist-centered".
On the day of the launching ceremony, the Geopark held a tourism promotion forum in Zhanjiang, bringing together more than 200 representatives from leading tour groups and cultural tourism enterprises in Guangdong. Through PPT presentations and video screenings, the forum systematically showcased the "dual heritage" value of Sanqingshan UGGp as both a World Natural Heritage Site and a Global Geopark. High-definition aerial videos fully presented iconic landscapes such as the West Coast Sea of Clouds Plank Road, the Oriental Goddess, and the Python Slithers out of Mountain. A cultural knowledge quiz about Sanqingshan UGGp was held at the event, with cultural and creative gifts from the Geopark awarded to participants.
The Zhanjiang Forum was the first stop of the "Four Levels & Four Inclusions" special campaign. According to the plan, the campaign will be successively launched in provincial capitals, prefecture-level cities, counties and communities, covering different tourist groups through multi-level promotion.
This event is also an innovative practice for the Geopark to deepen government coordination and stimulate market vitality. In the future, the Geopark will continue to advance the development of a "world-class tourist destination" and support the high-quality development of the regional cultural and tourism industry.
