On the morning of January 20, the Mount Sanqing Scenic Area held the 2017 Economic Work Conference to comprehensively summarize the work of 2016, and study and deploy the economic and social work of the scenic area in 2017. More than 350 people attended the meeting, including leaders at or above the county level in the scenic area, representatives of the Party, the People's Congress, and the Political Consultative Conference of the scenic area city, official staff members, retired senior cadres from the management committee, deputy department level or above cadres from the group company and the main responsible persons of each branch, deputy department level or above cadres from various units stationed in the mountain, members of the Sanqing Township and Fenglin Office teams, party branch secretaries and village committee directors from various administrative villages, representatives of large-scale enterprises stationed in the mountain, travel agency representatives, rural tourism representatives, and school and hospital leaders. Zhu Li, the secretary of the scenic area party committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

Zhu Li pointed out that in 2016, under the strong leadership of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, Mount Sanqing has made six achievements closely around the goal of "world famous, domestic first-class, and Jiangxi benchmark" tourism destination: first, tourism development has reached a new level, second, industrial upgrading has formed a new pattern, third, brand image has achieved new breakthroughs, fourth, joint construction and sharing has reached a new level, fifth, party building in the scenic spot has presented a new situation, and sixth, the cadre team has shown a new style.
Zhu Li stressed that 2017 was a great year for the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and also the first year to fully implement the decisions and deployment of the provincial and municipal Party congresses. Mount Sanqing should further consolidate and amplify the achievements of Jiangxi tourism demonstration scenic spots and the national green tourism demonstration base. According to the "one, three, six" working ideas, with "global tourism" as the core, it should build an integrated scenic spot of "global, panoramic, and time-space", and accelerate the construction process of "world famous, domestic first-class" global tourism destinations.
——New ideas drive new development and build a "comprehensive" scenic area. To develop comprehensive tourism, it is necessary to form a cluster of characteristic tourism products, promote the integrated development of various products, formats, and industries, give full play to the comprehensive driving function of "tourism+", integrate various industries into it, take "tourism" as the central industry, promote the integration of tourism with other industries, and form a large-scale linkage pattern of the tourism industry.
——New measures are being taken to create a new image and promote the optimization of the "panorama". We need to deepen the construction of comprehensive tourism, promote the construction of tourist villages, scenic courtyards, etc. in accordance with the construction standards of "beautiful countryside", change the "dual sky" situation inside and outside the scenic area, and ensure that there are scenery and tourism everywhere in the region.
——New products create new experiences and expand "all time and space" tourism. To develop global tourism, it is necessary to focus on solving the problem of unbalanced development of tourists and the problem of tourists' inability to live. It is necessary to dig out the connotation of Mount Sanqing, light up the Sanqing night scene in time, expand the Sanqing space in space, and promote it to the market and show it to tourists in a new way.
——Strictly govern the Party and conduct, and further strengthen the guarantee of tourism development in Mount Sanqing. The key to realizing the grand blueprint of the 13th Five Year Plan lies in strengthening Party building, and fundamentally in strengthening Party leadership. To build Mount Sanqing as a tourist destination, we should have the spirit of "success does not depend on me". We should continue to work one after another. What we do is real achievements, which will be seen and remembered by the cadres and the masses.

Wu Hua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the scenic spot, delivered a work report entitled "Seize the momentum and work hard to build a tourist destination in Mount Sanqing" at the meeting. Wu Hua pointed out in summarizing the work of 2016 that over the past year, under the strong leadership of the provincial and municipal party committees and governments, the scenic area has ensured a good atmosphere of no change in leadership, no confusion in thinking, no slackness in work, and no relaxation in work style. It has actively adapted to the new normal of economic development, overcome difficulties, and taken proactive measures to withstand the downward pressure of the economy. Despite the overall decline in the tourism industry of surrounding scenic spots, it has achieved a 22.3% increase in tourist numbers against the trend, consolidating its position as the top group of tourists in the province's tourist attractions. Significant progress has been made in five aspects: focusing on projects and grasping business models, making big strides from single sightseeing tours to comprehensive tourism; Based on management and focusing on service, we are making great strides from extensive management to refined service for scenic spots; Based on the brand and focusing on marketing, we are taking big strides from being a benchmark in the province to becoming a first-class scenic spot in China; Based on people's livelihood and ensuring security, we are making great strides from single development to universal construction and sharing; Based on stability and work style, we will take big strides from ensuring the development of scenic spots to promoting a good political ecology.
After comprehensively analyzing the challenges and opportunities for Mount Sanqing to build a global tourism destination, Wu Hua put forward the overall requirements and main expected goals for the work in 2017, emphasizing the following work: first, strengthen publicity and marketing with all efforts to improve the "popularity" of the scenic spot; Secondly, we will make every effort to improve the tourism industry and enhance the completeness of scenic spots; Thirdly, we will make every effort to reform the management system and enhance tourist satisfaction; Fourthly, we will make every effort to strengthen the benefits and prosperity of the people, and enhance the happiness of the masses.

At the meeting, Xu Zhuo, member of the scenic spot party committee, head of organization and head of publicity and united front work, read the "Notice on Praising the exemplary organization of Mount Sanqing Scenic Spot in 2016", and the leaders sitting on the rostrum awarded medals to the units that have won the exemplary organization of Tax Payment, Excellent Cooperative Travel Agency and Advanced Village of Comprehensive Evaluation of Rural Environmental Sanitation.

The meeting also deployed and arranged overtime work during the "Golden Week" of the Spring Festival, welcoming the city's economic and social inspection work, visiting and consoling during the Spring Festival, targeted poverty alleviation work, implementing the reporting system for leaders and cadres going out, the requirements for integrity and self-discipline of party members and cadres, and the work of ensuring safety and stability in the jurisdiction.
