1、 Background and purpose significance
In order to commemorate the 48th World Earth Day, respond to the United Nations' Year of Sustainable Tourism Development, fully showcase the unique and magnificent Earth story imprint of China's geoparks, deepen understanding of the relationship between humans and the Earth, enhance the reputation of geoparks, promote healthy and sustainable tourism, and convey and promote the harmonious development of humans and nature, the National Geopark Network Center plans to launch the "Most Beautiful Earth Impression" photography competition for the whole society. This photography competition revolves around all geological parks in China. The public can use their cameras to search for and discover precious images such as the historical records of Earth's evolution and development, the interdependence between humans, animals, and plants, and the wonderful moments of utilizing Earth's resources.

6、 Participation method
With the help of Internet technology, this photo contest extends to every geological park through the network, and every tourist can achieve the opportunity to participate in and vote in the photo contest within reach.
1. All tourists and photographers in the National Geopark can register for the competition through the competition menu of the WeChat official account of the National Geopark Network Center, upload their entries directly on the official account, or participate in the photography competition through the offline activity posters of the park, scanning the two-dimensional code of the posters.
2. All the entries will eventually be gathered in the WeChat official account of the National Geopark Network Center for centralized display and publicity, and will be voted and scored by netizens. Voting should follow the WeChat account of the National Geopark Network Center.
3. All selected works can be publicized and displayed in the geological park's WeChat official account for a long time in the future.
7、 Competition requirements
1. Photography works must closely follow the theme of the competition, revolve around the concept of China Geopark and the harmonious development of "human and nature", emphasize ornamental, popular science, and artistic qualities, and strive for health and progress. Photography equipment, methods, and styles are not limited;
2. Authors are allowed to make simple adjustments and moderate cropping to their photographic works, and are not allowed to use computer technology for operations such as compositing, adding, or deleting original elements;
3. A single entry must not be less than 1M, mainly in JPG format, and metadata (EXIF parameter) must be retained;
4. Each participant shall retain the electronic original file of their entry for future reference;
5. The legal responsibilities related to reputation rights, portrait rights, copyright, etc. involved in the entries shall be borne by the participants themselves; Works that have been officially published (in newspapers, magazines, websites, etc.) and those that have participated in other photography competitions are not eligible to participate in this competition. Once discovered, their eligibility for the competition will be cancelled;
6. All entries are original. In the event of a dispute over rights and responsibilities, the participant's eligibility to participate will be cancelled and corresponding responsibilities will be pursued;
7. Each participant can submit a single or group image at a time, with a maximum of 9 entries per group image. Each group of photos is considered as 1 entry. Each contestant has no limit on the number of times they can submit their work. Each work must be named and accompanied by a written explanation. Encourage works with stories.
8. This event is free of charge and non refundable. The copyright of all selected works belongs to the organizer. The organizer has the right to use it in publishing brochures, organizing exhibitions, and related promotions without paying any remuneration.
8、 Competition selection method:
1. This competition will adhere to the principles of "fairness", "impartiality", and "openness". All works will be selected by netizens through WeChat voting, and 100 works will be preliminarily selected as the selected works;
2. The organizer selected 30 works from the selected works as excellent works;
3. The organizer entrusts experts in relevant fields to award 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes and excellence awards from outstanding works.
4. The National Geopark Network Center invites photography and geological experts to form a judging panel to review all entries, and has the final interpretation right of the competition.

9、 Competition Reward Method

20 Outstanding Awards (with a prize of 200 yuan and a certificate)
70 finalists (certificate and commemorative award presented)
All award-winning works are copyrighted by the organizers of the competition. The winners will be announced on the website of the National Geopark Network Center, WeChat official account, the website of the Land and Resources Science Popularization Base Management Office and other platforms. The same contestant cannot win both awards. The award-winning works will also be displayed on the National Geopark Network Center and the "Foot Crawler" media platform.
All winners can receive two tickets to Danxia Mountain Global Geopark and one flight experience at DJI Drone Danxia Mountain Flight Culture Experience Center. Within one year, they can exchange them at Danxia Mountain Global Geopark with their valid ID card.
10、 Purpose of award-winning works
The award-winning works will be used for external promotion and other media outlets such as GGN official website, GGN communication, National Geopark Network Center, Land and Resources Science Popularization Base, "Foot Crawler" community, etc.
11、 Other instructions
This photography competition is provided with full technical support services and network cloud storage services by Wuhan Geoscience Travel Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Foot Crawler), as well as prize money for the winning contestants.
For this photography competition, Danxia Mountain Global Geopark will provide ticket rewards to the shortlisted authors.
