In order to inspire children to love their hometown, further improve their awareness of environmental protection, establish a green concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, and respond to the theme of the UNESCO World Geopark "Year of Sustainable Tourism Development", Mount Sanqing World Geopark held a primary school painting competition with the theme of "telling the story of Mount Sanqing and me with a paintbrush" on the approaching of World Environmental Protection Day.
The painting competition was jointly sponsored by the Mount Sanqing Geopark Administration Bureau and the Education and Sports Bureau, and the nature and culture of Mount Sanqing were used as the creative materials. Since early April, numerous teachers and students have participated in this competition, and 20 preliminary works have stood out. With the paintbrush in hand, the students described the Mount Sanqing in the children's mind, showed the love of the next generation for Mount Sanqing, the responsibility for environmental protection, and also showed the students' longing for beautiful Sanqing Mountain.
At the painting competition selection meeting organized on April 20th, after evaluation by the selecting teachers, the list of first, second, and third prizes for this painting competition has been announced. The winning works are publicly announced as follows:
