June 5th World Environment Day: Leading a Green Life—Sanqingshan on the Move

June 5th, 2015 marked the 44th World Environment Day. Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark staff members embarked on a series of environment protection promotion activities which advocated the overall society to further raise awareness of environment protection.

In the tourist service center and ticket barriers, staff members dispensed promotion leaflet to each tourist to call for the cleanness of scenic area environment, creating the sound atmosphere that everyone was involved in environment protection. Those efforts aside, scenic area also organized sweep activity all over the mountain.  In the meantime, in the east and south of the mountain were hung promotion slogans to build up

tremendous atmosphere to commemorate the World Environment Day.
