On October 6, Chen Yun, Secretary of the CPC Shangrao Municipal Committee, conducted an inspection of tourism development at Sanqingshan UGGp. He stressed the need to fully implement the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, transform resource advantages into industrial strengths, amplify the brand of "The Splendor of Sanqing", and strive to build a high quality world class tourist destination, taking the lead and playing a pioneering role in the internationalization of Shangrao’s tourism. Municipal leaders Rao Qinghua and Wang Yong accompanied him on the inspection.
Chen Yun inspected the construction, protection, management, and operation of the main area on site. He urged Sanqingshan UGGp to seize the opportunities for tourism development, benchmark against world class standards, and enhance its brand influence and international reputation.
Chen Yun emphasized the need for high starting point planning and layout to promote integrated development between mountain and valley areas and diversify tourism offerings; to improve transportation with high standards and build a system of fast access and slow travel; to deeply explore Taoist culture at a high level, achieving culture shaped tourism and tourism enhanced culture; to upgrade the scenic environment with high taste, and drive high quality income growth and prosperity for local residents.
Regarding the city’s tourism work, he urged strengthened publicity and marketing, strict adherence to safety bottom lines, and the transformation and upgrading of tourism led by Sanqingshan UGGp and Wuyuan, so that Shangrao’s tourism can go global.
Guided by this inspection, Sanqingshan UGGp will strive to build a world class tourist destination and contribute to the international development of Shangrao’s tourism.
