At the foot of Sanqing Mountain lies a magical little town, named Fenglin, which has a dreamlike name. The residents here are mainly Minnan people. Minnan people who migrated to Jiangxi have lived here for more than three hundred years, now numbering nearly twenty thousand, mainly with the surnames Zhong, Li, and Wang. They speak Minnan dialect and worship Mazu, still preserving Minnan customs and traditions. On the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, they celebrate the Lantern Festival, and on the sixteenth day, the flower lanterns are displayed. In recent years, with the renewed rise and development of tourism in Sanqing Mountain, tourism centred on nature and service has benefited the entire scenic area, and the development of ecological civilisation has enabled mutual benefit, harmony, and coexistence among the government, enterprises, and citizens.
