From April 22 to 24, a delegation led by Ms. Maria Rosario Cordero Martin, President of the Council of Spain's Caceres Province, visited the Mount Sanqing World Geopark with four members.

The Spanish delegation inspected the core scenic area of the park, schools, Mount Sanqing Museum, pastoral rural tourism demonstration base, etc., understood the resource value of Mount Sanqing in detail and the development of park management, participated in the "4.22 World Earth Day" science popularization activity held in Sanqing Shanxi Keng Central Primary School, introduced the Spanish Geopark to students and presented souvenirs.

During the inspection, both parties introduced the development of the park and had in-depth communication and exchanges on park construction and management, resource protection, science education, and preparation for re evaluation. Mr. Jos é Maria Barrela Martin Meyeras, director of Spain's Vijolcas Ibor Hara World Geopark, admired the beautiful scenery of Mount Sanqing and affirmed the achievements of the park construction. Both sides expressed their intention to continue strengthening exchanges and cooperation in park management, heritage conservation, science education, geological tourism, and other areas, and jointly promote the development of the world's geological park industry.
