Sanqingshan UGGp Sees Weekend Surge in Visitors, Welcomes First European and American Inbound Tour Groups of the Year

As temperatures rise, the number of tourists in Sanqingshan UGGp has increased significantly. Visitors from all over travel together, stroll along the high-altitude plank roads, stop at iconic scenic spots such as the Python Slithers out of Mountain and the Goddess Peak, take photos amid green mountains and floating clouds, and fully embrace the spring beauty of “traveling in a painting”.

This inbound tour is the first large-scale European and American tour group received by Sanqingshan UGGp in 2023. Coinciding with clear weather after rain, the mountain was featured by surging cloud seas and freshly washed peak forests. The exotic peaks, grotesque rocks and misty waves amazed foreign visitors. The Geopark specially arranged folk custom shows including She nationality bamboo pole dance and Tai Chi performance, and invited tourists to interactive experiences. With warm invitations, foreign tourists joined in trying the bamboo pole dance one after another, creating a lively and friendly atmosphere.

Popa Stefan, a tourist from Romania, said that he was already attracted when seeing videos and pictures of Sanqingshan UGGp online, and was even more amazed after visiting in person. “The scenery here is unique, and I can also experience Chinese culture firsthand. It’s wonderful,” he said.

Sanqingshan UGGp is known as “Hometown of Clouds and Mist, Gallery of Pines and Rocks”. Its unique natural landscapes and profound cultural heritage are attracting an increasing number of international visitors. The Geopark stated that the arrival of this inbound tour marks the accelerated recovery of Sanqingshan’s inbound tourism market. It will continue to optimize inbound services and expand the international tourist market.
