At the 4th Council and Forum of the 2nd China Cableway Association held on the morning of November 11, the southern cableway of Sanqingshan was awarded the title of 5S passenger cableway. This marks that the cableway in the south of Sanqing Mountain has officially entered the 5S level and reached the world's advanced level. The cableway in the south of Mount Sanqing was built in 1996, rebuilt in 2009 and put into operation again. Shuangxi cableway outside Sanqing Mountain has transported nearly 10 million tourists in 16 years.

It is understood that among the 550 empty frame passenger ropeways that have been built and used in China, 14 cableways, including Huashan, Zhangjiajie, Qingcheng Mountain, Emei Mountain, Mount Sanqing, have reached 5S level.
