The new gate of Mount Sanqing is praised by tourists because it follows the theme of Taoist culture, integrates the historical and cultural elements of Mount Sanqing, and adopts the design concept of combining the architectural style of Han Dynasty with modern technology.
It is understood that the mountain gate was designed by the Public Art Research Institute of the China Academy of Art, with a grand and majestic atmosphere, a simple and clear shape, and a smooth and spacious layout. The height of the mountain gate is 18.19 meters, the mid span is 23 meters, the column height is 9.9 meters, and the net height under the beam is 7.5 meters; For the three bay gate, the double row, three span, and eight pillar mode appears flat and stable. In addition, the eight columns on both sides of the gate are engraved with green dragon, white tiger, rosefinch and Xuanwu as elements, and the font of the plaque "Mount Sanqing" is inscribed by Shu Tong, a calligrapher. A 55 meter diameter Taoist Yin Yang Bagua is laid on the ground, forming a landscape belt with the front and rear halls of the gate, the back hall, and the opposite mountain scenery.
