Wang Chunhui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee; Xie Huajie, Director of Shangrao Global Tourism Development Center; Qu Guangming, Member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of Shangrao Sports Bureau; Lai Xinwei, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee; and Huang Zheng, expert from Jiangxi Athletics Association, attended the opening ceremony and fired the starting gun for the race.

The event featured three categories. “Xunxian Wendao — 40KM Category” connects cultural and natural attractions including Python Slithers out of Mountain, Oriental Goddess, and Three Palaces;

“Python Slithers out of Mountain — 30KM Category” challenges cliffside plank roads and primitive forests, passing the Taoist cultural heritages of Three Palaces; “Wander around Sanqing — Recreational Category” combined with cableway sightseeing, helping convert event traffic into tourism growth. Based on Sanqingshan’s iconic landscapes of sea of clouds, peak forests, and exotic pines, runners can experience the steep majesty of Python Slithers out of Mountain and the gentle grace of Oriental Goddess along the track.

The event has attracted attention from domestic and international media.

CCTV-4, People’s Daily Online, China News Service, Ifeng.com, Jiangxi Daily Network and other media outlets covered the race, forming a comprehensive communication pattern combining traditional and new media.

A relevant person in charge of the Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee stated that the next step will be to further promote the integrated development of "Sports + Tourism". Through event linkage and industrial chain empowerment, efforts will be made to help build Sanqingshan UGGp into an international eco-cultural tourism destination.
