On November 14, the annual grand event of China’s tourism accommodation and cultural tourism scenic spot industry — the Midea Cultural Tourism & Accommodation Festival, came to a successful conclusion in Suzhou.
The event brought together governments at all levels, leading cultural tourism groups, well-known hotel brands, high-quality investment institutions and third-party upstream and downstream service providers to discuss the future development of the cultural tourism industry. At this grand event, Sanqingshan UGGp was awarded the title of “Model Scenic Spot for Integrated Cultural and Tourism Development in China” for its outstanding achievements in the integration of culture and tourism.From January to October 2024, the number of tourists received by Sanqingshan UGGp increased by 31% compared with the same period last year. Since the beginning of this year, tourist arrivals during major holidays including the Spring Festival, May Day Holiday and National Day Holiday have all hit record highs.

In addition to winning the award for "Model Scenic Spot for Integrated Cultural and Tourism Development in China", Sanqingshan UGGp has claimed many other honors this year, including Tencent 2024 Annual Marketing Innovation Award, 2024 Tiktok Food & Travel Festival Popular Travel Brand, Excellent Host Area of the 12th Tour of Poyang Lake International Cycling Race, Cooperative Organization Award of the 2nd Jiangxi Cultural Industries Fair, 2024 Shangrao Must-Visit Destination on Dianping Must-Play List.
These honors not only highlight the Geopark’s outstanding achievements in the integration of culture and tourism, but also lay a solid foundation for its future development.
