May 19, 2022 marks the 12^th "China Tourism Day", which coincides with the azalea blooming season in Sanqingshan UGGp. Under the theme "Follow the Fragrance, Joyfully Tour Sanqing", Sanqingshan UGGp celebrated the festival with visitors by combining online live streaming and offline activities.

In the early morning, the Geopark’s live streaming team went up the mountain with stabilizers to provide real-time updates on the azaleas. Despite the light drizzle, the flower buds on camera had quietly begun to bloom, half-open and graceful among the extraordinary peaks, showing the unique delicacy and vitality of early summer.

Three groups of "special mystery guests" made a surprise appearance at Sanqingshan UGGp that day: The first group, "Liu Genghong Girls", performed the Compendium of Materia Medica shuttlecock dance among the peaks. As the music started, tourists joined in one after another, creating a lively atmosphere. The second yoga team stretched gracefully on the 1,500meterhigh granite peak, with mist and clouds drifting behind them, blending people and landscape into one harmonious scene. The third group of "Flower Fairies" came attracted by the fragrance, posing elegantly in the azalea sea and inviting everyone to appreciate the beauty of Sanqingshan UGGp.

The Geopark stated that during the three years troubled by the epidemic, more and more people have longed for the days when they could pack their bags and set off at once. China Tourism Day is not only a travel initiative, but also a tribute to nature and a cherishing of the scenery beneath our feet.
