Yushan County Museum is a comprehensive museum with a Jiangnan garden-style architectural style, integrating education, exhibition, collection and research. Located on the east side of Sanqing Park in Yushan County, it covers an area of 9,218.9 square meters with a total construction area of 7,414.82 square meters.

The exhibition area is nearly 4,500 square meters. The basic exhibition halls on the first floor include the "Magnificent Mountains and Beautiful Waters" and "Enduring Cultural Heritage" units, as well as a Stele Rubbing Exhibition Hall, a Temporary Exhibition Hall, and a supporting Youth Second Classroom. The basic exhibition halls on the second floor include the "Cultural Relics of Civilization", "Folk Customs" and "Eternal Fame" units, together with the "Academician Huang Jiasisi Memorial Hall", "Liu Zigu Memorial Hall", a Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Hall and a Temporary Exhibition Hall.

Yushan County Museum is committed to enabling the general audience to understand Yushan's local customs and historical culture, and providing them with a smooth, natural, safe and comfortable visiting environment. With a rich collection and a variety of exhibition activities, the museum receives hundreds of thousands of Chinese and foreign visitors every year. It is a popular science education base at the provincial and municipal levels, a municipal-level patriotic education demonstration base and a calligraphy creation and training base.

In addition to the basic exhibitions, the museum has several special exhibition halls. Among them, the Academician Huang Jiasisi Memorial Hall is specially dedicated to commemorating Huang Jiasisi, a famous thoracic and cardiac surgery expert and medical educator from Yushan, displaying in detail his life experience, academic achievements and patriotic feelings. The Liu Zigu Memorial Hall focuses on exhibiting the original calligraphy and painting works of Liu Zigu, a painter from Yushan, highlighting his unique artistic attainments in bamboo painting and his profound influence in the art circle. In addition, the Stele Rubbing Exhibition Hall and the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Hall are open all year round, and various temporary themed exhibitions are held regularly to enrich the visiting experience.
