The Sanqingshan Ping'an Volunteer Police Association is a public welfare grassroots public security organization established in the Sanqingshan Scenic Area of Shangrao City in June 2022. Formed under the guidance of the Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee, public security organs and relevant departments, its core mission is to mobilize forces from all sectors of society to participate in peace-building, assist public security organs in maintaining social order, serving the public, resolving conflicts and disputes, and building a strong regional security defense line.

The association’s members are mainly local volunteers. In their spare time, they actively engage in public welfare work including security patrols, campus safety protection, anti-fraud publicity, epidemic prevention and control, scenic area security, conflict mediation and tourist services. By giving full play to their unique advantages of being familiar with people, places and local conditions, they have become an important auxiliary force for public security organs in maintaining social order and ensuring public safety.

Since its establishment, the association has grown steadily from just over 20 initial volunteers to more than 500 members today. With practical actions, it has contributed to peace-building and social governance in the Sanqingshan area, safeguarding harmony and tranquility in the Geoparkand its surrounding regions.
