Sanqingshan UGGp has promoted the use of sustainable energy, including hydropower and photovoltaic power. Solar energy has been used in hotels and communities. Solar powered street lights are used around the mountain roads.

Sanqingshan UGGp has implemented a photovoltaic poverty alleviation project in Fenglin Town, and established a photovoltaic agricultural park in Huaiyushan.

Sanqingshan UGGp has promoted public green transportation, to encourage the use of electric vehicles.

Sanqingshan Tourism Transport Co., Ltd. is responsible for long-distance transfer inside the Geopark. New energy vehicles are used. Electric buses are used within the Huaiyushan area and Yumen Waterfall area.
