Sanqing Mountain World Geopark promotes the use of sustainable energy, including hydropower and photovoltaic power generation. Hotels and communities use solar energy, and solar street lights are installed along the mountain roads. 

A photovoltaic poverty alleviation project is implemented in Fenglin Town, and a photovoltaic farm is established on Huaiyu Mountain.
