The Measures for Supporting the Development of Sanqingshan Featured Homestay and Traditional Folk Catering Industry (Trial) was issued to promote the development of featured homestays and traditional folk customs and improve the quality of tourism services. The Geopark Committee has invested about 1.2 million USD to build beautiful rural demonstration sites in 2024. The Geopark has encouraged local residents to work as tour guides, sedan-chair bearers, sanitation workers, or engage in the operation of tourism services such as homestays, B&Bs, and restaurants, to promote local economy.
