Typhoon Warning – Weather Forecast
Issued by Sanqingshan Meteorological Observatory at 20:48 on July 27, 2023 Typhoon Blue Warning Signal. This year’s No.5 Typhoon Doksuri – at 20:00 today, its center was located in the northeastern South China Sea about 330 kilometers south-southeast of Xiamen, Fujian Province. The maximum wind force near the center is 16 grades, and the minimum central pressure is 930 hPa. It is expected to make landfall along the coast from Dongshan to Putian in Fujian Province on the morning of July 28. Affected by the typhoon, gusts may reach above grade 8 in some areas of Sanqingshan UGGp within the next 24 hours. After the typhoon’s low-pressure system moves out of Jiangxi Province on July 31, precipitation in Sanqingshan UGGp will continue for some time but will gradually weaken, and the impact of the typhoon will basically end.

Due to the passage of Typhoon Doksuri (No.5 this year), and to ensure the safety of tourists, the Jinsha Cableway and Waishuangxi Cableway of Sanqingshan UGGp will be closed early at 16:00 this afternoon (July 28).
