Sanqingshan UGGp Releases the 2024 Annual Regular Preferential & Free Admission Policy

Sanqingshan UGGp has recently issued an announcement on the 2024 Annual Regular Preferential and Free Admission Policy, which specifies the prices of scenic area tickets and cableway tickets, as well as the preferential scope for various groups of people.

I. Ticket & Cableway Prices

Upward: Full price 70 yuan/person; discounted price 35 yuan/person

Downward: Full price 55 yuan/person; discounted price 28 yuan/person

II. Scope of Ticket Preferential & Free Admission

1. Military personnel: Active military personnel and retired military personnel are exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of relevant certificates.

2. Members of the national comprehensive fire and rescue service: Exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of cadre certificates, firefighter certificates, or trainee certificates.

3. Journalists: Exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of press cards issued by the General Administration of Press and Publication or the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.

4. Members of Photographers Associations: Members of provincial or higher-level Photographers Associations (including provincial level) are exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of membership cards.

5. Taoist clergy: Exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of clergy qualification certificates uniformly issued by the Taoist Association of China.

6. Tour guides and travel agency managers: Exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of national electronic tour guide certificates, general manager qualification certificates, or Sanqingshan UGGp commentator certificates.

7. Seniors aged 60 to 64: Enjoy half-price admission tickets upon presentation of their ID cards.

8. Seniors aged 65 and above: Exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of their ID cards.

9. Persons with disabilities: Exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of disability certificates. One accompanying person for disabled persons with amputations of both lower legs and other severe disabilities is also exempt from admission tickets.

10. Preferential care recipients in Jiangxi Province: Disabled veterans and preferential care recipients receiving pension subsidies are exempt from admission tickets upon presentation of the Jiangxi Province Preferential Care Certificate.

11. Children: Children aged 6 and under or with a height of 1.2 meters and below enjoy free admission (must be accompanied by guardians).

12. Students aged 6–18: Minors aged above 6 to 18 and under, children aged above 1.2 meters to 1.5 meters and below (must be accompanied by guardians), and full-time students with bachelor’s degree or below (including full-time regular undergraduates, junior college students, technical secondary school students, middle school students, vocational school students, and primary school students) enjoy half-price admission tickets upon presentation of valid student ID cards or ID cards. Graduate students, adult education students, self-taught students, short-term trainees, etc., are not eligible for preferential treatment.

III. Scope of Cableway Preferential & Free Admission

Children at or below 1.2 meters in height: free cableway ticket;

Children above 1.2 meters and at or below 1.5 meters in height: eligible for discounted cableway ticket.

All children must be accompanied by guardians when taking the cableway.

IV. Notes

1. Tourists eligible for preferential policies shall take the initiative to apply for preferences and present valid certificates to the staff at the tourist center service window when purchasing tickets. Failure to apply or inform the ticket seller shall be deemed as waiver of the preferential treatment, and no refund or ticket change will be made by the Geopark.

2. The term "free admission" in this policy only refers to the entrance ticket to the Geopark, excluding cableway rides, other sightseeing items and secondary consumption projects within the Geopark.
