To encourage public participation in the protection of terrestrial wild animals including birds and extensively collect clues of illegal activities, in accordance with the Wildlife Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations of Jiangxi Province on the Protection of Migratory Birds, Sanqingshan UGGp hereby establishes a reward-based reporting system for the protection of terrestrial wild animals including birds. The relevant matters are announced as follows:

I. Scope of Reporting
Illegal acts that damage terrestrial wild animal resources including birds within the jurisdiction of the Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee.

II. Reportable Content
1.Illegal hunting or poisoning of terrestrial wild animals including birds by using dangerous means such as poisonous bait, toxicants or toxic gas;
2.Illegal killing of terrestrial wild animals including birds by using tools such as bird nets, hunting guns, electrical equipment or animal traps (snares);
3.Illegal purchase, sale, operation, transportation or consumption of terrestrial wild animals including birds and their products;
4.Other destructive acts, including damage to habitats.

III. Conditions for Reporting
1.Real-name reporting (providing the reporter’s name and telephone number);
2.Preserving on-site evidence and providing basic information such as the specific time and location;
3.The reported illegal act is verified to be true upon investigation.
IV. Reward Standards
1.A reward of 500 yuan per case if verified true but not up to the criteria for administrative or criminal filing;
2.A reward of 1,000 yuan per case if registered as an administrative case;
3.A reward of 2,000 yuan per case if registered as a criminal case.

V. Other Provisions
1.Where the same illegal act is reported by multiple persons, only the reporter who provides valid clues first shall be awarded.
2.Anyone who fabricates or distorts facts, or stages incidents to fraudulently obtain rewards shall be transferred to the public security organs for handling.
3.The personal information of reporters shall be kept strictly confidential. Anyone who discloses such information without authorization shall be held accountable in accordance with laws and regulations.
4.The reward funds shall be paid by the Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Sanqingshan UGGp. No duplicate rewards shall be given if rewards have been provided by other departments.
