I. Improvement of Protective Facilities and Warning Signs
The Geopark has conducted a comprehensive inspection of high-risk locations, including undeveloped areas, waterside and cliffside zones, as well as steep slopes and precipices. Physical isolation facilities and guardrails have been upgraded, and prominent signs prohibiting unauthorized entry, marking potential risks and displaying emergency contact numbers have been installed. Meanwhile, safety reminders are released through multiple channels including admission notifications, electronic display screens, broadcast announcements and official online platforms, guiding visitors to stay away from dangerous areas voluntarily.
II. Strict Ban on Organizing or Participating in Unauthorized Wild Hiking
The Geopark strictly prohibits any entity or individual from organizing, soliciting or guiding tourists into undeveloped areas for sightseeing, adventure, camping and other activities. It is also forbidden to publish or promote unauthorized wild hiking and off-trail travel products and related information. Visitors are advised not to be misled by online so-called hidden scenic spots and shall not enter dangerous areas without permission.
III. Strengthen On-site Duty and Persuasion
The Geopark has joined forces with local towns, public security, forestry departments and other authorities to deploy additional staff for duty and patrol at mountain entrances, key forks and climb-prone areas, so as to detect and dissuade unauthorized entry behaviors at an early stage. Visitors shall consciously abide by area regulations, follow official tourist routes, and refrain from crossing isolation facilities.
IV. Emergency Preparedness and Information Release
The Geopark is fully equipped with first-aid medicines, life-saving equipment, emergency communication devices, fire prevention supplies and other materials. It has improved emergency response plans for incidents such as getting lost, being stranded and forest fires. The Geopark closely monitors weather conditions and fire danger levels, and implements measures including temporary closure and passenger flow control when necessary.
Visitors are advised to check the weather and Geopark opening status before traveling, keep the emergency hotline in mind, and call for rescue promptly in case of emergencies.
