During the 2022 National Science Popularization Day (September 15–21), Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark partnered with Yimengshan, Yandangshan, Danxiashan and multiple other UNESCO Global Geoparks plus candidate geoparks to co-launch the themed event of 2022 National Science Popularization Day – Friendly Sister Geopark Joint Initiative.

Students are invited to visit Sanqingshan Geological Museum for outdoor geology study tours. Attend popular science lectures on Earth’s mysteries, observe precious geoheritage sites, gorgeous rock specimens and diversified wildlife, and take part in hands-on geological experiments to gain immersive insights into Sanqingshan’s dramatic geological evolution spanning millions of years.
