On the morning of April 23, more than 800 teachers and students from Shangrao Xinzhou Secondary Vocational School came to Sanqingshan UGGp for a study tour.

First Stop of the Study Tour • Sanqingshan Geological Museum

As one of the first batch of Shangrao City Research and Practice Education Bases for primary and secondary school students, Sanqingshan Geological Museum has long been popular among students.

Relying on its collection resources, it highlights the mysteries of UGGp’s geological evolution and integrates geological culture with research tours. It has been developed into a "second classroom" for students, allowing more young learners to explore the secrets of the Geopark’s granite landscapes.

It is a large-scale geological museum integrating sightseeing, science education and research. It is of great significance for primary and secondary school students to understand the geological evolution of Sanqingshan UGGp and explore the evolutionary history of human activities and the natural environment.

As soon as everyone stepped into the Sanqingshan Geological Museum, they were attracted by the exhibits and interactive equipment in the exhibition halls, and everyone immersed themselves in the ocean of knowledge. Under the guidance of their teachers, the students explored and learned about the geological mysteries of Sanqingshan UGGp during their visit.

Second Stop of the Study Tour • Sanqingshan UGGp

The students climbed Sanqingshan UGGp together to explore the mysteries of granite on site.

As the area featuring granite peak forest micro-landforms, Sanqingshan mainly includes nine types of landscapes: peaks, peak walls, peak clusters, stone forests, peak pillars, stone cones, rock walls, canyons, and uniquely shaped rocks. It is a key site for studying the formation and evolution of granite micro-landforms.

The knowledge learned at the Sanqingshan Geological Museum unfolded right before their eyes. When Giant Python Peak and Goddess Peak came into view, everyone exclaimed, "How beautiful!" Amid Sanqingshan UGGp, there are countless extraordinary peaks and stunning wonders. One after another, everyone took out their phones to take photos together.
