2021 educational tour in campus of Sanqingshan UGGp

From June 11 to 12, 2021, Sanqingshan UGGp invited Dr. Xu Kejian of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) to carry out the 2021 educational tour in campus of Sanqingshan UGGp in Sanqingshan School and Jiangxi Institute of Economic Administrators.

During the activity, Dr. Xu Kejian made a theme report on The Relationship between Natural Heritage and Geoparks. A total of more than 150 students from Sanqingshan School and Jiangxi Institute of Economic Administrators listened to the report. Through a large number of pictures and examples, the report explained a lot of knowledge about global geoparks and world natural heritage, as well as the development process and protection of global geoparks and world natural heritage in China. The report was broad in vision and explained profound concepts in simple terms. The students listened attentively, interacted actively with Dr. Xu, and spoke enthusiastically, creating a lively atmosphere. An interactive session was also added at the event, where Sanqingshan souvenirs and tickets were given to students through prize-winning Q&A.

This activity not only enriched the students' understanding of the global geoparks and world natural heritage, but also made the students realize that natural resources are not only belong to the national, but also belong to the world. Protecting natural resources is the obligation and responsibility of every citizen. Students said that they should adhere to the concept of green development, build a more beautiful great motherland and leave a beautiful environment with bluer sky, greener mountains and clearer water for future generations.
