Wedge-shaped bedding
Thin layers of limestone are wedged into thick limestone layers, forming wedge-shaped bedding. The upper and lower boundaries between the strata are planar, but not parallel to each other. The thickness of the strata changes significantly in a wedge shape, and they intersect with each other.
