Tianzhushan UGGp of China
Tianzhushan UGGp is located in Qianshan City, Anhui Province. It connects Dabieshan in the northwest and the Yangtze River in the southeast, covering an area of 413.14 km2. The Geopark is famous all over the world for the classic section of Dabieshan UHP metamorphic belt with the largest scale, the deepest exhumation, the best exposure and the most abundant UHP minerals and rocks in the world; It is famous for the most beautiful granite landform on the Tancheng-Lujiang Fault Belt, especially the unique and typical collapse accumulation landform. It is praised by experts as an outstanding representative of China's "Tianzhushan Type" granite landform. In addition, it also attracts attention people at home and abroad with abundant Paleocene mammalian fossils, which is recognized as "one of the places of origin of Asian mammals".
