From October 30 to November 3, 2018, the 4th UNESCO Global Geoparks Management and Development International Training Course and the 1st UNESCO Global Geoparks Evaluators Training Course were held at China University of Geosciences (Beijing). Staff from 37 UNESCO Global Geoparks in China, as well as professional and technical personnel from universities and research institutions engaged in geopark-related work, participated in the training. Sanqingshan Global Geopark sent representatives to attend this training. 

The training invited experts including members of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Council, members of the Global Geoparks Network Executive Board, and outstanding experts from global geoparks and related institutions to serve as instructors. The training provided systematic instruction on key topics such as the management and operation of UNESCO Global Geoparks and the facilities and methods for geological heritage interpretation.

During the training, the staff of Sanqingshan Global Geopark valued this opportunity to interact face-to-face with world-leading experts, actively communicating and exchanging ideas with them, and gaining an in-depth understanding of the concept and development trends of global geoparks. This training is of great significance for promoting the construction and management of Sanqingshan Global Geopark.
