Symposium on 2023 Tourism Promotion and Marketing Work of Sanqingshan UGGp Held

13-Jan-2023 13:00

At the meeting, Ge Jian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Sanqingshan UGGp, reviewed the achievements of tourism marketing in 2022 and outlined the guiding principles for 2023: giving full play to the Geopark’s leading role in Shangrao’s tourism industry, and unswervingly expanding and strengthening the core tourism business. He hoped that all cultural and tourism enterprises would work together with the Geopark with unified goals, firm confidence in development, sincere service, determination to break through difficulties, perseverance to dare to act, and commitment to the original aspiration of entrepreneurship, so as to jointly embrace the prosperity of tourism development in 2023.

Wang Qinghui, Director of Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee, shared three insights based on his experience. First, the road is tortuous, but the future is bright. With the adjustment and optimization of epidemic prevention and control policies, the tourism industry is about to embrace a spring of recovery and revival. Second, only by improving both internal strength and external image can we achieve steady and long-term development. Deepening product upgrading internally and strengthening publicity and marketing externally are the eternal themes promoting the sustainable development of tourism. Third, with unity and joint progress, a promising future lies ahead. At the symposium, the Publicity Department and the Bureau of Culture and Tourism respectively shared their 2023 publicity and promotion plans and tourism marketing arrangements. Based on the new situation of the post-pandemic cultural tourism market, representatives of various enterprises put forward active suggestions on market support policies, tourist consumption demands, business format upgrading, live-streaming operation difficulties, team building, and high-end product development. Lai Xinwei, the leader in charge, together with principals from the Scenic Area Administration Bureau, the Bureau of Culture and Tourism and other departments, responded to and answered questions raised by enterprise representatives one by one. The on-site interaction was enthusiastic and achieved remarkable results.
