On October 19, Sanqingshan UGGp officially entered into a sister geopark agreement with Huashan National Geopark. The signing ceremony was attended by Ye Wuqing, Deputy Director of the Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee, and Zhang Yongjiang, a member of the Party Working Committee of Huashan National Geopark Administrative Committee.

Following the ceremony, the delegation from Huashan, led by Zhang Yongjiang, visited the main area, including the Immortal Valley, the Baqi Scenic Area, and the Sanqingshan Geological Museum. The visit provided an in-depth look at Sanqingshan’s geoheritage, management structure, infrastructure, educational outreach, and community development initiatives.

The two parties engaged in extensive discussions on various aspects of geopark management, including geoconservation, interpretation and public presentation. Moving forward, they planned to collaborate on promotional efforts, local cultural innovation, and personnel exchanges, aiming to jointly build a world-class brand for their geoparks through shared experience and expertise.
