From April 17 to 19, the National Tourism Safety Training and Emergency Drill, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was held in Sanqingshan. More than 200 participants attended the training and observed the drill, including officials responsible for tourism safety from cultural and tourism administrative departments of 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, as well as from the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, sub-provincial cities, cities specifically designated in the state plan, and key tourism cities. Also in attendance were department heads and safety managers from major tourism enterprises across all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.

Distinguished leaders present at the event included Wang Xiaofeng, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; Hou Zhengang, Deputy Director of the Market Management Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; Chi Hong, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jiangxi Province; Ma Chengzu, Secretary of the Shangrao Municipal Committee; Li Ruifeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shangrao Municipal Committee; Zhu Li, Secretary of the Party Committee of Sanqingshan Global Geopark; and Wu Hua, Director of the Sanqingshan Administrative Committee.

The meeting focused on tourism safety training and emergency drills. Its purpose was to implement the important directives of President Xi on safety production and tourism safety, to further enhance the safety management standards of cultural and tourism administrative departments and tourism enterprises nationwide, and to strengthen emergency response capabilities for tourism-related incidents. The ultimate goal is to resolutely safeguard the security and stability of the tourism market.
