To commemorate the 50th anniversary of World Earth Day, to raise awareness of humanity's responsibility to cherish the Earth and protect our home, and to celebrate the officially approved expansion of Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark, the Sanqingshan UGGp organized a series of engaging Earth Day themed publicity and natural resource science outreach activities on April 22.

The Geopark held the "Earth Day Science Publicity Event" at Jinsha Visitor Square under the theme "Cherish the Beautiful Earth, Protect Natural Resources," which attracted numerous tourists and local residents. Through activities such as signing a pledge banner, screening science popularization videos, distributing brochures, scanning QR codes to follow the Sanqingshan UGGp official account, and giving away souvenirs, the Geopark called on visitors to take part in protecting the Earth. The initiative aimed to guide the public in embracing the philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and the vision of "harmonious coexistence between humans and nature."

Meanwhile, students from Baxiandong Primary School in Zihu Town, Yushan County, also participated in the Geopark's educational activities that day. By visiting the Sanqingshan Geo-Museum and engaging in geosciences learning, the students gained a deeper understanding of Sanqingshan's natural resources and cultivated an ecological awareness centered on connecting with nature, understanding it, and protecting it.
