On March 8, in celebration of the 112th International Women’s Day, Sanqingshan UGGp organized themed activities to inspire and encourage women within the Geopark to further embrace the spirit of self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance, and self-improvement. Through volunteer services and interactive games, the event fostered a joyful and uplifting festival atmosphere, while mobilizing women’s contributions to improving the local living environment and advancing rural revitalization.
That morning, the Women’s Federation led a volunteer initiative, involving female staff from township offices, collective enterprises, and government departments. The Geopark was divided into five zones for simultaneous clean-up efforts. With great dedication, the participants served the Geopark with enthusiasm, celebrating their special day with a vibrant and proactive attitude. Their efforts fully demonstrated the energetic, progressive, and capable spirit of women cadres and employees in the new era, further boosting their motivation and commitment to work.
In the afternoon, the Women’s Federation organized a tug-of-war competition and a sack race. The female cadres and staff actively participated with skill and high spirits, creating a lively and exciting atmosphere. Cheers and applause frequently filled the venue as teams collaborated and competed with passion.
