From June 1st to 2nd, the Granite Geology and Formation Causes and the 8th National Magmatic Rock Specialized Committee Conference jointly sponsored by the China Magmatic Rock Specialized Committee and Nanjing University was convened in Sanqingshan. More than 30 experts and scholars from major geoscientific research institutions nationwide presented the conference.   

During the two-day meeting, experts discussed and exchanged ideas on topics including formation and evolvement of crust, formation causes of magmatic rock in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River and Sanqingshan granite magma types,  and they also surveyed Sanqingshan’s landform at site.
