The event was guided by the Shangrao Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports and the Municipal Sports Bureau, hosted by Sanqingshan Geopark Administrative Committee and the Jiangxi Roller Skating Association, and organized by the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Sanqingshan UGGp and Sanqingshan Tourism Industry Development Group Co., Ltd.

At the opening ceremony, leaders and guests including Xu Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sanqingshan UGGp; You Shilin, Member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of Shangrao Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports; Lai Xinwei, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Geopark Administrative Committee; Ye Ruiqing, Level-IV Researcher of Shangrao Municipal Sports Bureau; Yu Dehua, President of Jiangxi Roller Skating Association attended and jointly launched the competition. Xu Wei announced the opening of the championships, and Lai Xinwei delivered a welcome speech.

The competition consists of 5 categories, kindergarten, children, juvenile, youth and adult, divided into two major disciplines are speed roller skating and freestyle roller skating. It includes 10 sub-events: 100m race, 300m time trial, 500m sprint, 1000m time trial, as well as low bar race, speed double slalom, speed forward cross, speed slalom, and artistic slalom. The total number of participants exceeded 3,000, making it the largest provincial-level sports event in Sanqingshan UGGp in 2023 in terms of engagement and number of athletes.

Speed roller skating was held at the Immortal Valley Parking Lot, where competitors chased each other on the track, showcasing speed and passion. Freestyle roller skating took place at the Jinsha Room Square, where skaters performed difficult slalom, obstacle and artistic routines, fully demonstrating the artistry and spectacle of roller skating. The atmosphere inside and outside the venue was lively, with athletes competing bravely, and referees and staff fully ensuring the smooth running of the event.

The competition lasts two days, with the champions to be announced on the following day.
