World Heritage International Volunteer Action in Mount Sanqing

On July 21, 23 international youth volunteers from 8 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, France, Spain and South Korea, started a five-day voluntary action for heritage protection in Mount Sanqing, a world natural heritage site.  

During the five-day period, volunteers walked into the scenic area to pick up garbage, standardize and proofread the signage, organize a "heritage protection" commitment signing activity, and distribute heritage protection brochures to tourists. Through practical actions, they demonstrated their value in protecting world heritage and awakened tourists' awareness of world heritage protection; Volunteers came to Xikeng Central Primary School, a heritage site, to promote heritage protection knowledge to students through lively and vivid interactive games, as well as paintings by Patrimonito, a young guardian of the World Heritage site, allowing the concept of protection to deeply penetrate the hearts of the underground generation; Finally, the volunteers came to the Mount Sanqing Museum to have an in-depth understanding of the Mount Sanqing heritage site under the explanation of the museum staff.
