How much do you know about the heritage value of Mount Sanqing? More than 300 domestic and foreign experts from 2 international conferences tell you

Following the opening of the 2015 UNESCO World Heritage Forum Series in Mount Sanqing yesterday, another international academic seminar will meet Mount Sanqing today. In two international conferences in two days, more than 300 Chinese and foreign experts, scholars and scenic spot managers discussed heritage protection and sustainable tourism development in the same heritage site, and the heritage value of Mount Sanqing was recognized globally.
On May 21, the 10th International Academic Seminar on Tourism Frontier, sponsored by the Professional Committee of Tourism Geography of the Chinese Geographical Society, the International Tourism Association (ITSA), and organized by the Tourism Research Institute of Nanjing University and the Mount Sanqing Scenic Area Management Committee, opened. More than 150 experts and scholars from Temple University, the Institute of Geographic Science and Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Sun Yat sen University and other universities and research institutes have conducted in-depth discussions on the theme of "World Heritage OUV Protection and Tourism Development".
This seminar is the tenth grand event of the Tourism Geography Professional Committee of the Chinese Geographical Society since the "International Symposium on Urban Tourism" in Zhuhai in 1999, the "International Symposium on Tourism Planning and Management for Developing Countries" in Guilin in 2001, and the "International Symposium on Event Tourism and Tourism Destination Construction Management" in Yichang in 2003. The biennial seminar is held in accordance with international conventions, aiming to broaden scholars' horizons, deepen academic dialogue between China and the West, promote research on the protection and tourism development of World Heritage sites in the academic community at home and abroad, and play a promoting role in the sustainable development of the tourism industry and the protection of World Heritage sites.
