From December 3 to 9, Mount Sanqing Scenic Area was invited to participate in the 2013 annual meeting of the International Volunteer Coordination Committee held in Qufu, Shandong. The conference is hosted by the International Committee for the Coordination of Volunteers (CCIVS) and organized by the Training Center of the Chinese Society of Education and the Cultural Relics Bureau of Qufu City.
At the meeting, Mount Sanqing was awarded the first ten "international volunteer bases" in China, to thank Mount Sanqing Scenic Area for its participation in the IMPACT project summary meeting of "building synergy between non-governmental organizations and academic institutions to measure and evaluate the impact of international volunteer services in Europe and Asia", and appreciate its contribution to the development of international volunteer services in China.
It is reported that the Training Center of the China Education Association is committed to becoming a bridge and link between international youth organizations and Chinese educational institutions, carefully building an international platform, promoting the extensive participation of Chinese youth, and promoting the internationalization of Chinese culture; At the same time, actively introducing international advanced volunteer service concepts and high-quality resources, opening up a new situation for volunteer service work in China, and promoting the internationalization process of China's volunteer service. The International Volunteer Coordination Committee has decided to establish the China Education Society Training Center as the Chinese base of the International Volunteer Coordination Committee. With the recommendation of the China Education Society Training Center, the first batch of exemplary "International Volunteer Bases" will be built in China.
