On the first day of the May Day holiday, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark recorded a remarkable surge in visitor arrivals. The geopark adopted a host of measures including visitor reservation systems, staged crowd control, free shuttle buses and proactive on-site services to ensure tourists safe and pleasant trips.
In terms of crowd management, police officers and frontline cableway staff were all fully stationed to guide visitors to queue up for cable rides in order and maintain on-site discipline. Vehicles were neatly parked across all parking lots, while sanitation workers kept the Geopark clean throughout the day. The Sanqingshan Branch of Market Regulation launched food safety promotion campaigns themed "You Submit, We Inspect" and "You Pick, We Test" at Jinsha Visitor Plaza to safeguard tourists’ dining safety. The Municipal Transportation Law Enforcement Detachment collaborated with public security authorities to conduct on-site law enforcement and legal publicity, resolving disputes in a timely manner.

For visitor services, the geopark rolled out the service initiative "Hello Visitors, Come to Me for Help". Staff took the initiative to offer assistance with straightforward and thoughtful services to greatly enhance visitor experience.

Meanwhile, a wide range of cultural experience activities were held in the Geopark. The matchmaking event Blessed Bond of Sanqingshan — Mountain and Sea Vow Dating Fair continued as scheduled. Participants who successfully paired up through on-stage interactions received complimentary travel photography services, and all attendees were gifted camping mugs. The limited-time spring activity "Flora Goddess Parade" took place at Gangshou Visitor Square, where performers dressed in elaborate embroidered costumes paraded, drawing crowds to stop and interact. The Immortal Palace Vegetarian Food Event ran concurrently. Visitors who posted UGC content with designated hashtags could purchase local vegetarian snacks such as Sanqingshan vegetarian noodles for just one RMB and savor authentic vegetarian cuisine.

Throughout the May Day break, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark integrated stunning natural landscapes with rich cultural activities, allowing tourists to enjoy a fulfilling holiday amid grotesque peaks and sea of clouds. As one tourist commented on site: "This place boasts the unparalleled beauty of the No.1 Immortal Mountain south of the Yangtze River, paired with five-star warm hospitality."
