From June 15 to July 15, 2026, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark will launch a one-month free entrance ticket preferential campaign exclusively for residents of Hunan and Hubei Provinces (cable car fares shall be borne by visitors themselves).

Eligible Participants

1. Residents of Hunan Province whose ID numbers start with "43";

2. Residents of Hubei Province whose ID numbers start with "42";

3. Residents whose household registration address on identity cards is located in Hunan or Hubei Province;

4. Residents holding residence permits issued by prefecture-level cities in Hunan or Hubei, or having paid social insurance in either province.

Eligible residents from the two provinces may enjoy free admission to the core scenic area of Sanqingshan upon presentation of valid documents including personal identity cards, residence permits and social insurance payment vouchers.

Ticket Booking Channels

Visitors with ID numbers starting with "43" or "42" may reserve and purchase tickets via the mini-program "Sanqingshan Smart Tourism".

For visitors whose household registration is in Hunan or Hubei, or those holding other relevant valid documents, online system identification is unavailable. They shall bring their supporting documents to on-site ticket windows to buy tickets and enter the Geopark.

This campaign creates a great summer travel option for residents of Hunan and Hubei.
