From June 2026 to June 2027, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark will host the series events themed The Splendor of Sanqingshan — The Pines Come First. Targeting tourists, experts and scholars, photographers, journalists and other participants, the events feature a wide range of activities centered on the unique pine landscapes of Sanqingshan.

The series consists of four supporting programs:

1. "Discover the Beauty of Sanqingshan Pines" Campaign

Running from June to December 2026 and open to all visitors, this photo contest welcomes entries capturing pine trees and pine-rock scenery across the entire geopark. Participants need to submit their works with titles and shooting locations to take part.

2. Special Forum "Share the Heritage Site, Protect Sanqingshan Pines Together"

Held between July and August 2026, the forum invites specialists from forestry, ecology, cultural tourism and other sectors to exchange views and share management experience on topics including ancient pine conservation, pest and disease control, pine-themed IP development and ecological advancement of the heritage site.

3. Provincial & Municipal Photographers Field Creation Tour "Encounter Sanqingshan Pines, Comprehend the Soul of Mountains and Rivers"

Taking place from October 2026 to June 2027, this activity invites photographers from provincial and municipal levels to visit the geopark for field shooting and creation.

4. National Journalists Field Creation Tour "Admire Sanqingshan’s Magnificence, Savour the Beauty of Ecology"

Staged in November 2026, the tour brings journalists from major national media outlets to conduct on-site visits focusing on highlights of ancient pine protection and ecological restoration, followed by relevant publicity and news coverage.
