On June 25, the 2026 Shangrao Cultural Tourism Exchange Forum themed Scenic Landscapes Bind Pudong & Shangrao was staged in Shanghai. Co-hosted by Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark and Wuyuan Huangling Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd., the event received joint support from Pudong Tourism Association, Yushan Bingyudong Travel Agency and Sanqinghong Group as co-organizers.
The forum extended targeted invitations to more than 60 cultural and tourism enterprises based in Pudong, Shanghai. Centering on the Pudong tourist market, it prioritized business expansion across four core segments: wellness recuperation tours, corporate team-building activities, educational study tours and self-driving trips. Top-tier Pudong travel agencies, team-building service providers, study tour platforms and wellness enterprises gathered at the venue for in-person, in-depth matchmaking sessions between suppliers and buyers, establishing a full-chain cooperation mechanism covering product planning, tourist source delivery and on-site reception.
On June 1, 2026, an inspection delegation from Pudong Tourism Association paid an on-site reconnaissance visit to Sanqingshan. The group traversed mountain sightseeing routes in person and immersed themselves in the geopark’s natural scenery and supporting services. During follow-up discussions, industry practitioners spoke highly of Sanqingshan’s abundant tourism resources and satisfying visitor experience, fully recognizing the geopark’s unparalleled mountain tourism value.
During the promotion session, representatives of the geopark gave a comprehensive presentation of Sanqingshan’s world-class natural assets and rolled out cultural tourism cooperation packages for Shanghai travel distributors. Home to the most spectacular granite peak forests in the Western Pacific, Sanqingshan boasts stunning sea of clouds, grotesque pine formations, jagged rock outcrops and cliffside boardwalks, perfectly catering to diverse demands including summer wellness retreats, outdoor corporate team building and natural science study tours. The forum also launched premium combined itineraries linking Sanqingshan’s mountain vistas with Huizhou-style ancient villages in Wuyuan Huangling, alongside one-stop supporting resources such as scenic hotels, catering and accommodation services along the routes, offering mature, highly marketable group tour packages to Shanghai trade partners.
This forum has built a regular communication platform linking Shangrao’s cultural tourism sector with Pudong travel distributors. Building on this exchange opportunity, both sides will deepen long-term cooperation in multiple fields: joint development of wellness recuperation bases, regular scheduled study tour routes, two-way exchange of self-driving tourists, and customized corporate team-building programs.
