On January 8^th, on the occasion of the fourth Chinese People's Police Day, the results of the 2023 “the Most Beautiful Grassroots Police Officer” selection activity for Jiangxi public security organs, jointly organized by the Publicity Department of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and the Jiangxi Provincial Public Security Department, were announced. Qiu Lamei, Deputy Director of Waishuangxi Police Station of Sanqingshan Branch of Shangrao Public Security Bureau, was honorably elected as one of "the Most Beautiful Grassroots Police Officers" in Jiangxi.

Since joining the police force in January 2004, she has remained dedicated to Sanqingshan for two decades, devoting the best years of her life to the public security cause of Sanqingshan and this beloved land.

As a tourism police officer, she gets busier and more exhausted during holidays. Over 19 major festivals including Labor Day, National Day and Spring Festival, Qiu Lamei sets off at dawn and returns under the stars and moon. She is busy at every scenic spot, accompanying tourists from all over the world, patiently answering their questions, warmly responding to their requests for help, and sincerely serving the tourists. She is known by tourists as the "living map of Sanqingshan".
